Meet the Team

Certified Orthodontic Assistant

I love connecting with our patients, and building relationships while helping each achieve a smile they love. Orthodontic treatment can change a person’s life: give them great confidence and make them happier and healthier! I assist Dr. Couch with various procedures. Sitting chairside, I support him as he tends to the patient. At the same time, I make sure our patient is comfortable and relaxed in the chair. I am thankful to work in a positive office where we make amazing smiles happen!

I love to help others and am very mission minded. I help my church every Thursday night to feed and clothe homeless people on the streets of Atlanta. I’ve also participated in overseas mission trips. I enjoy time with my puppy, Bella, and am finishing my prerequisites to become a dental hygienist. Of course I’m a huge Georgia Bulldog fan, too!

Certified Orthodontic Assistant

I love interacting with and getting to know our patients. Each person and each case is different and that means my days are filled with new things to learn! We have an amazing team, and Dr. Couch is an exceptional orthodontist who wants only what’s best for our patients. I assist the doctor as he creates beautiful smiles. I am cross-trained and fill in as the new patient coordinator when Lisa is out of the office. I’m glad to be part of such a great office where we help increase people’s self-esteem and happiness!

I’ve been married for more than 20 years and have four children and one granddaughter. I’m passionate about adopting rescue dogs and have two of my own, Willow and Cooper. I love playing tennis and gardening and look forward to traveling in the future.

I love being able to help people, but especially children, feel comfortable at our office. Dr. Couch is patient and kind with younger children and makes sure they feel safe during visits. I love watching our patients transform as they achieve their new smiles! I provide chairside assistance to Dr. Couch during various procedures. I also take diagnostic records and am the Invisalign® coordinator for the practice.

Outside of work, I love time with my daughter Rhiannon, son John, and new grandson, Westley! I look forward to being outdoors, taking hikes, gardening, and trips to the beach.

Financial Coordinator

I am so happy to be able to help families with financial matters. Dr. Couch and our team believe everyone deserves a lifetime of healthy, beautiful smiles, and we’ll do all we can to make it possible for families to afford care. I work with patients and parents to find financial arrangements that work with their budget. I also handle collections, billing, monthly reporting, and insurance coordination.

My husband Al and I have been married for almost 40 years. We’ve a son, Blake, who will be married in July 2017. It’s exciting to be planning a wedding! My weekends are spent with family and friends. I love planting flowers and time with my church, which is a vital part of my life.

Certified Orthodontic Assitant

I love working with our patients: becoming their friends and hearing what’s happening in their lives! Dr. Couch is an amazing orthodontist and our team feels like family; our patients are part of that family, too. It’s a great feeling to see how a new smile helps a person feel better about themselves and see how confident they become! I work chairside, to support Dr. Couch and our patients. I also work in our lab.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my young granddaughter, who calls me GiGi. I enjoy growing orchids and African violets and like to knit and cross-stitch.

Scheduling Coordinator and Marketing

I really love interacting with people from all walks of life, from my coworkers to our patients and their families. The most appealing part of my work is knowing there is an amazingly positive outcome for each and every patient who comes to Couch Orthodontics! I enjoy marketing our practice to local doctors and hygienists as well as schools and general outreach. It’s fun to get to know people in our community and teach them about orthodontics and how we can help change their lives!

I’m originally from Northern Ireland. I have two children, a dog, and a strong interest in health and well-being. My spare time is spent taking my children to and from their sports activities. I enjoy taking my dog to the park, too; like my children, he is also heaven sent!

Certified Orthodontic Assistant

I love talking and laughing with kids of all ages: from 7 to 80 and everyone in between! Dr. Couch is patient and kind, and offers advanced orthodontic care. My peers are part of my family, and together we’re committed to keeping patients smiling while they achieve a new smile! I ensure Couch Orthodontics meets all OSHA standards. I also arrange for visits from several local schools for dental health awareness and assist Dr. Couch with patient care. Seeing my friends develop stronger self-esteem and confidence during treatment is the best experience!

My best friend and I have been married for almost 25 years. We have a daughter, Hannah, who is now Couch Orthodontics’ sterilization assistant. My family and I enjoy salt water fishing and hanging out on Lake Lanier.

I love talking with our patients and learning about their lives. They always have something new to share and we spend a lot of time laughing. We serve the best families and are now creating smiles for a second generation! Working chairside, I assist Dr. Couch. Additionally, I track inventory and handle ordering for our orthodontic supplies. I also help with our social media campaigns and contests, to make treatment more fun!

I’m a single parent with a teenage daughter. Outside the office, I’m very involved with her cheer and high school booster club. In the summer I enjoy going to the beach and gardening in my yard. When fall comes around, I’m all about football: Roll Tide!

Treatment Coordinator

I am so lucky: I get to meet new families and patients as they start their orthodontic journey! I enjoy getting to know each person and seeing the end results of a beautiful new smile and how it changes a person’s life. I work with families and Dr. Couch during the initial visit. I review their recommended treatment plan, answer questions about care, and explain the financials to the family. I also set up the necessary appointments and handle correspondence with other dental offices.

My husband Dwayne and I have a daughter who will graduate high school in May 2017 and start college in the fall. Meredith is our pride and joy! When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and shopping and have a passion for interior design and décor.
